Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

At the time of writing this article the Museum offers free admission to anyone named Isabella.  It has lots of concerts and exhibitions of historic and contemporary art.

Lots of people describe the Museum building as a work of art in itself. 

Isabella collected and displayed over two thousand objects, there is plenty of things for the family of all ages to see and do.  In the 1990 it was all the talk due to an art theft carried out there, the thieves to art up to value of half a billion dollars.  The thieves carried out the heist dressed as police officers.  The FBI still has not caught the thieves.

Museum of Science Boston


The museum has over 500 interactive displays and lots of examples of 100 different animals and endangered species.  The endangered animals have been rescued from many different situations which would have been a danger to them.

The museum started out around 1830; the museum works with many schools to educate children about science.  Lots of the exhibits are interactive moving object to encourage visitors to get involved with hands on approach.

The museum also has areas covering the history of computing.

What to do in Boston Massachusetts




Boston has a great history.  It is a great place for sports fans and tourists who enjoy a bit of culture.

Boston hosts many concerts, and there are many places to go and eat out.

The capital of Massachusetts is Boston.  It is the largest city in New England.


Boston Seafront 

The Boston Seafront is being rejuvenated. There is a lot of new development work going on with new hotels and apartments being built.  Lots of the apartments have doorman and secure access.

There's some great restaurants to suit every taste.  Enjoy yourself dining and strolling along by the harbour.


New England Boston Aquarium

Is located in the ideal location of the water front,  the center was founded in 1969, the aquarium has thousands of aquatic attractions like sea lions and whales, rays and sharks to educate and amuse the family.

Boston Public Gardens

Boston Public Gardens is located in the heart of Boston Massachusetts.  The park is famous for its Swan Boats.  The Garden has lots of fountains, it is a lovely place for all the family to enjoy. 

At certain times of the year people enjoy painting in the 24 acres of the park.  The gardens are located at just across Charles Street from the Common. 


Fenway Park Boston

The park is a baseball park in downtown Boston.  It is the place where the Boston Red Sox has played since 1912.

Boston Common 

The area is known as Common Land.  It is a central the park originated in 1634.  Boston Common is the ideal place to go and site and people watch, go feed the ducks.  The visitors' center for all of Boston is located on the Tremont Street side of the park.  The Park has a freedom trail, the park, the park is free for anyone to use.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

The American art collector who lived from 1840 to 1927.  The museum is located in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts.  The house was a gift from her father.  Isabella love to travel and had a love of of life.  In 1990 two thieves dressed as police men broke into the museum.  The museum has an impressive collection of works of art produced by arts Micaelangelo, Rembrandt, Botticelli etc.

The Museum is located in Science Park on a plot of land on the Charles River.  It has over five hundred exhibits and hosts lots of live presentations throughout the day.  There is something for everyone to keep them occupied all day.  The Museum also has animals and a butterfly garden.

New York City at Christmas and New Year Guide


There is no other city in the world at Christmas and New Year like New York.


Go for a white Christmas in New York City, check out the Christmas markets and shops.

New York is a magical place at Christmas.  The window displays are fantastic.  There is skating rink at the Rockerfeller Center and Central Park there is also a Rockerfeller Christmas tree they have been lighting the lights there since 1931 the lights are switched on in November.

Enjoy the Christmas displays at Saks Fifth Avenue and the famous Macy’s. 

Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square starts with lighting of the in November where they put a good show on with brass bands and popular music and street performers.

Every year people travel to New York to see the lights and sample the atmosphere of Times Square.  Lots of stars perform to entertain the crowd.  Each year the City tries to put on a better show.

Every year, over one million people descend upon Times Square to celebrate the New Year.

Every Year Millions of people watch people celebrate the coming of the New Year on their televisions.

It is best to book early to avoid disappoint with finding accommodation.

South Beach Miami Florida


South Beach, also has the been called SoBe and the American Riviera and an Art Deco playground.

Visit South Beach Florida it is a fantastic place to stay and visit and full of beautiful people.  It has lots of places to eat and wonderful beaches. 

Take a walk back in time in the Art Deco area of Historic Miami.  Take a walk along Ocean Drive and people watch. 

The sea is warm and the beach is golden you can see the fish swimming by your feet and go clubbing of a night.

Miami Zoo Florida


Miami Zoo formally known as Miami – Dad Zoological Park and Gardens in the past it was also know a Miami Metro Zoo.

The zoo’s history is known to go back to 1948.  It is considered to be one of the best Zoo’s in the country.

The whole family will enjoy seeing the animals.  The Zoo has 2000 animals you can view the amazing endangered wildlife at a safe yet close range.

The Zoo encourages conservation of the environment and preservation of wildlife.

Miami Zoo has the largest open aviary in America.

Miami Zoo has educational facilities for children and adults.

Monkey Jungle In Miami Florida


Monkey Jungle in Miami has over 30 species of primates.  It is a great place to take the children.  The zoo encourages the monkeys to live in their natural habitat as possible.

Monkey Jungle is a 30 acre reserve where the monkeys are encouraged to roam free however at a safe distance from the public.  The humans are caged in walkways:  How cool is that?
